Last week
SMSU went 0-2 on the weekend, losing 2-1 to Concordia-St. Paul on Friday before losing 5-0 to Minnesota State on Sunday.

11 newcomers made their Mustang debuts this season.

Sydney Johnson has played in 15 games, including six starts, and assisted on the first goal of the season in the season opener.
Ciarra Valdez is one of nine players to start at least 12 games, recording an assist, taking a shot and playing in 982 minutes.
Brooke Wetterstrom, who has played in 16 games, has 20 shots and 13 shots on goal. She also scored her first career goal against Winona State.
Haley Mason has started 10 games for the Mustangs, tallying two goals and two assists in 963 minutes.
Hannah Walburg, Tessa Borwick, Sandra Kraling, and Lenee Chavez have all recorded at least one start.

SMSU and Sioux Falls will meet for the 17th time in program history, with SMSU leading the series 9-6-1.
Their first meeting came in 1996, while their last meeting came in November of last year, when the teams recorded a 2-2 tie in Sioux Falls
