Starved Rock Country Community Foundation hosting first annual Disco Ball

The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation is hosting its first annual Disco Ball. It’s a seventies themed night with disco music, five food stations, a coffee and latte bar, and live auction. Some of the things to bid on at the live auction include four tickets to a Chicago Bulls game, a weekend trip to New York City, or a one-week trip to anywhere else in the US. It’s Sunday, October 23rd at the Auditorium Ballroom in LaSalle from 4:30 to eight. The money from ticket sales and the auction will be used by the foundation to continue to give out grants, scholarships, and disaster funds to non-profits in need.
