SPOTT Awards 2022

Recognising the efforts and achievements of the creators, platforms and marketers, SPOTT Awards’ winners were announced following the day-long ET iStream Congress 2022. The honour was bestowed to content that is fresh, campaigns that are engaging and ideas that are innovative.

While Sony LIV secured the recognition of ‘OTT Platform of the Year’, Emmay Entertainment became the ‘Content Studio of the Year’.

A total of 15 winners were awarded with gold metals, apart from 25 special awards category winners. 17 silver, seven bronze and one special mention award were given at the event.

Rocket Boys stole the spotlight by securing six awards under the special category. Among others in this category, Abhay Pannu for ‘Director of the Year’, Harshvir Oberoi for ‘Cinematographer of the Year’, Maahir Zaveri for ‘Editor of the Year (Video and Audio)’, Jim Sarbh for ‘Performance in a Leading Role: Male – Web Series’ won the metals for Rocket Boys.

Tabbar that streamed on Sony LIV bagged a gold for ‘Web Series – Hindi Special Jury Award’.

Asian Paints and Deltin won the gold medal for their brand placement in ‘Where the Heart is (season four)’ and ‘Loop Lapeta’ respectively.

Pocket FM and aha bagged the ‘Game Change of the Year’ award in audio and video streaming space respectively. Aha also became the ‘Regional OTT Platform of the Year’.
